  Abstract:  

(Pr,Dy)2Fe14B/α-Fe hard/soft nanocomposites were obtained by mechanical milling and subsequent annealing. The influence of the milling and annealing conditions on the structural, microstructural and magnetic properties of (Pr0.92Dy0.08)2Fe14B/α-Fe nanocomposite have been investigated. The crystallites mean size was deduced from the Full – Width – at – Half – Maximum - FWHM of the diffraction α-Fe peaks according to Scherrer’s formula. The crystallites mean size, for the iron phase, increases when increasing the annealing temperature.
