Abstract:  A superconducting sample with nominal composition Bi2.0Sr2.0Ca1.0Cu2.0O8+x (with x = 0.15-0.20) was investigated. It was annealed in air, at 845 oC, for 150 hours. The sample was investigated via AC susceptibility measurements and XRD. The elemental content of the sample (concentrations and stoichiometric coefficients) was studied via inductively coupled plasma source atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES). It was established that an annealing, in air at 845oC, for a time interval less or equal with 150 h has no significant influence on the elemental composition, but enhance the superconducting properties of the sample.
