  Abstract:  Seit dem Erscheinen wurde der Roman als „Frauenroman mit autobiographischem Bezug“, als „Familienroman über das Leben in Siebenbürgen“ bezeichnet. Von der Autorin selbst als „patchwork-Roman“ charakterisiert, erstreckt sich die Geschichte der siebenbürgischen Familie über drei Generationen und wird zum Bild einer multikulturellen deutsch-ungarisch-rumänischen Familie, wie sie in Siebenbürgen oft anzutreffen ist. Die Autorin las folgende Texte am 26. Oktober 2015 an der Tagung: Queer Studies als Modell der Pluralität im Hörsaal der Philologischen Fakultät in Cluj/Klausenburg/Kolozsvár.
