  Abstract:  Ce volume rassemble les communications des participants au Colloque international PIERRE CORNEILLE – QUATRE CENTS ANS APRĖS, qui a eu lieu à la Faculté des Lettres de l’Université Babes-Bolyai de Cluj-Napoca, du 4 au 6 mai 2006. Les interventions qui font l’objet de cette publication s’organisent autour de quatre centres d’intérêt: Les textes du premier volet explorent l’œuvre de Corneille comme dramaturgie ouverte : une «dramaturgie de l’exception», selon la formule neuve de Patrick Dandrey, la problématique mélancolique, comme support de cette exception, selon Radu Suciu, la valorisation de la tradition littéraire et morale des Jésuites chez Corneille, selon Horia Lazar, mais aussi un théâtre créateur d’un modèle singulier dans l’intervention de Coralia Maria Telea.
