  Abstract:  Reflecţii asupra categoriilor verbale ale limbilor romanice, în special asupra aspectului. De pe bazele teoretice ale psihosistematicii limbajului, articolul îsi propune o succintă examinare a aspectului verbal numit transcendent, în patru limbi romanice (franceza, italiana, spaniola si româna). Se pledeaza pentru introducerea acestei categorii şi în studiul limbii române. Se examineaza contrastiv relatiile aspect-diateza, aspect-timp, subliniindu-se specificul românei. În timp ce în celelalte limbi romanice transcendenta verbala are un caracter de generalitate si se aplica întregului sistem verbal, putând uneori interfera cu diateza, în română ea este total disociată de diateza, rămânând legată de categoria timpului.
