  Abstract:  Le dernier essai critique de Roger-Yves Roche, intitulé Photofictions, se veut une relecture séquentielle des productions autofictionnelles les plus importantes de la littérature française du XXe siècle. Son étude prend comme point de départ la manière dont l’écriture décompose et assimile, dans la chambre noire de l’Imaginaire, les contours des images photographiques à valeur archétypale, pour ne laisser au regard du lecteur que l’ombre, le spectre d’un visage ou d’un paysage, sans lui permettre l’accès direct à l’Image.
