  Abstract:  De mai bine de un deceniu, literatura economică românească se reînnoieşte în ritmuri ameţitoare: se importă şi se traduce literatură economică occidentală; se scriu şi se publică o mulţime de cărţi în fiecare sector al ştiinţelor economice; sunt realizate şi sunt date tiparului lucrări de mai mică întindere, în ziare şi reviste de specialitate. Este normal să se întâmple aşa. După ce aproape o jumătate de secol am fost limitaţi în mare măsură la un anumit tip de literatură economică, încercăm acum să recuperăm timpul pierdut şi să ne familiarizăm cu ideile, principiile şi teoriile specifice economiei de piaţă, pe care în acelaşi timp o şi construim.
