  Abstract:  We consider a multinational company that produces food products. In many local sites it has production facilities for fat products used in household. These products are composed of various locally available ingredients (milk, emulgators, colorants, etc.). For each product there is a recipe. In this article we design a Decision Support System (DSS) using a mathematical model which enables the local production planner to make a good or optimal plan, using the centrally available knowledge about product requirements and recipes.
