  Abstract:  Although usually the Cold War is seen as a political event, its repercussions in the economic field are overwhelming. The entire evolution of world economy developed under its influences and implications. The beginning of Cold War can be interpreted as the beginning of economic European cooperation, and one of the first steps was Marshall Plan.
