Abstract: DOI: https://doi.org/10.24193/SUBBiur.63(2018).3.10 Published Online: 2018-12-17 Published Print: 2018-12-28 VIEW PDF Abstract: The right to culture constitutes a constitutional guarantee being relevant to various activities and the mission of museums. This mission, just like tourism, is associated with the ideal of fraternity among the private individuals, namely to the principle of solidarity. Culture constitutes a part of the environment, which is submitted to the principle of sustainability, mainly as far as heritage is concerned. Besides, museums have an ambivalent relation with wars and could be associated with constitutional guarantees, for instance by promoting the enjoyment of fundamental rights, particularly of new rights (or solidarity rights). Keywords: culture; environment; museums; principle of solidarity; tourism. |
