Authors:  CLAUDIU SORIN IRIMIAŞ.

Abstract:   Abstract-This paper presents a method for automatically generating computer programs to search the position of a particular object into a room. The goal of this research is to prove that genetic programming (GP) can be used together with Microsoft Robotic Studio (MSRS) runtime to evolve a hierarchical control architecture for a simple navigation on a autonomous robot. The results summarized in this paper present a control architecture evolved for a Lego NxtTribot robot simulated in Microsoft Visual Simulation Environment (MSVSE).

Key words and phrases. search strategies, robotics, genetic programming, microsoft robotic studio.
