  Abstract:  In the last part of the last century, the cult of saints became a privileged field of research of medieval devotion. From an analytical point of view, different ways of structuring for this domain shows, I think, a growing interest for studying the universal / regional hypostasis of the sanctity. The ''80s represents an important turning point in the investigation of the cult of saints.
