  Abstract:  Notes on Ion Creangă’s Literary Work in the Contemporary Transylvanian Press. Ion Creangă’s literary work, widely read among the Transylvanian Romanians, was repeatedly praised by the press of this province. After the writer’s death in 1889, the Transylvanian literary-cultural periodicals also drew the attention on the endeavors to editing the complete works of the writer Ion Creangă.
