Abstract: A Village in the Third Reich. How Ordinary Lives Were Transformed by the Rise of Fascism was published in May 2022 at Elliot & Thompson Publishers. Julia Boyd is a best-selling author with other works such as Travelers in the Third Reich: The Rise of Fascism through the Eyes of Everyday People (2017) or A Dance with the Dragon: The Vanished World of Peking’s Foreign Colony (2012).
