  Abstract:  La mer Noire, longtemps isolée politiquement et divisée linguistiquement, est restée jusque récemment dans un con d’ombre en ce qui concerne l’étude de ses antiquités. Même dans la recrudescence de ces études au cours des dernières deux décennies, une grande partie de la recherche se limite encore à des enquêtes de portée locale et régionale ; rares sont celles qui tentent d’embrasser l’intégralité du Pont. Ce sont seulement deux des multiples raisons de saluer la parution de cet ouvrage.
