  Abstract:  The sediments of the Eocene, especially Priabonian, and their mutual relations in the Outer Flysch belt are the main topic of the paper. The investigated area is located northwards of Moldova River, between Suceava, Suceviţa and Moldoviţa Valleys, within the Tarcău Nappe (TN) and belongs to the northern Paleogene flysch of the Eastern Carpathians, part of the Moldavides (Săndulescu, 1984) (Fig. 1).
