Abstract:  Attempts to the Neotectonic Deciphering in North-Western Part of Romania. The studied region is situated in north-western part of Romania and from a geological point of view in eastern part of Pannonian Depression. The sedimentary mezozoic and mio-pliocene deposits are transgressive and discordant disposed upon the crystalline proterosoic basement; divided in blocks unequal sunk.. The neotectonics presents an intensive activity in this area; it manifests by crustal earthquakes with epicentres at: Halmeu, Baia Mare, Pişcolt, Cadea, Oradea. The neotectonic movements are reflected in the coal deposits structure, near the mountain frame and this subsidence leading to the formation of coal complexes; the coal formation was variable in time and space (for example: Derna-Voivozi case). The neotectonics is also reflected in the modification of the hydrographical networks, orientation, in its convergent (Suplacu de Barcău, Marghita, Sălard) and in its reorientation (Bistra, Şisterea, Fertişag). The existence of subsidence movements in Quaternary is reflected in the alluvial deposits depth, growing up in the continuation of main rivers (Barcău, Crişul Repede), towards the subsidence areas (where they touch as far as 40-50 m depth), had the buried terraces character.
