Abstract:  International Touristic Circulation. As a component of international service marketing, international touristic circulation represents one of the most active promoters of interstate economic relations. Few socio-economic phenomena have known during the last four decades a growth rate comparable to that of tourism; in the period 1950-1990 international tourism developed at a mean annual rate of 7.1% for arrivals and 12.5% for cash. The study analyzes the dynamics of international touristic circulation in time and space, showing its main characteristics. The tendencies and perspectives of spacial dynamics of international tourism reveal the progressive development of the phenomenon, both as number of tourists and spacial extension, so that the dominant image of touristic circulation conditioned by the tyranny of proximity is modified.
