  Abstract:  The Impact of Economic Development Level upon the Life Quality of People and on Defining the Regional Specific of Lăpuşului Land. The paper makes a detailed analysis of the whole range of status indicators with a view to spotlight the social, economic and cultural sphere of life quality of society from Lăpuşului Land and of the component localities. The choosing of indicators depended on those whose analysis is based on reliable statistical data and were considered relevant for highlighting the specific anthropic features. The possible territorial similarities and disparities, which confer to this regional space a distinct anthropogeographic personality, were also discussed in relation to the neighbouring territorial systems.
