This paper analyzes how international broadcasters cross all types of borders, physical or conceptual, in order to reach the public and fulfill their role of public diplomacy tool for their countries in a difficult context for international stations and for media in general. We focused on Radio Romania International, a radio station that produces and broadcasts programs in 13 languages, aiming at promoting Romania, its domestic and foreign policy.
