  Abstract:  The European Union and the Status of the Passenger within the Air and the Sea International Transportation of Person. The normative evolution of the international conventions related to the maritime and air transport, aiming at a better protection of the passenger has promulgated a joint system of the transporter liability, an imperative regulation of exoneration clauses, limits of recompense and has recognized the passenger as a consumer holder of fundamental rights.
