  Abstract:   Între 12 şi 14 octombrie 2005 a avut loc la Cluj-Napoca Colocviul internaţional „George Bariţ – cetăţean al lumii”, organizat de Facultăţile de Litere şi de Ştiinţe Politice, Administrative şi ale Comunicării din Universitatea „Babeş-Bolyai”, în colaborare cu Institutul de Istorie „George Bariţ” al Academiei Române. Lucrările s-au desfăşurat în spaţiul universitar clujean, la Şcoala „George Bariţ” din localitatea Juc şi la Castelul din Bonţida. Managementul Zilelor Bariţ a fost realizat de Asociaţia Culturală Thalia – preşedinte Maria Vodă Căpuşan.
