Abstract:  From Guttenberg to Electronic Publishing. We live a time when we do not get our information anymore from words printed on crisp paper, the smell of ink into our nostrils being part of the ritual of enlightenment of the mind. Instead, we sit on our uncomfortable chairs with our eyes glued to the screen of our computer connected to THE WORLD. Are the books an endangered specie? Are we going to give up the newspapers for the electronic journals? Without attempting to give an answer we are going to go through the classical and the modern printing process in an attempt to envision our information future.
