  Abstract:  The Influence of Hidrokinetotherapy. In the situation of development of kinetotherapy as a scientific field with roots in medical science and based on the principles and means of physical education, hidrokinetotherapy receives new roles in the treatment of several disease and it is used succesfuly both in therapy and prophilaxy, the purpose of this study being to prezent it in the complexity of its aspects prophilactic and therapeutic. In this study there are presented some aspects of hidrokinetotherapy and the principal aspects af the aquatic environment, the influences of this environment, using as an experimental model the Wistar rats.The study was developed on two groups each one consisting of five rats.Group I – rats have been exposed to continuous dark 24h/24h during 14 days and then they were kept in the previous conditions.Group II - rats have been exposed to continuous dark 24h/24h during 14 days and then they were kept in the previous conditions and they benefit from two sessions of hidrokinetotherapy in two consecutive days.Before and after the exposure to continuous dark and also before and after the sessions of hidrokinetoterapy it has been determined the score of the spotaneous motility and emotivity for both groups.The exposure to continuous dark determined the decrease of the score for spontaneous motility and emotivity. After the exposure the score for spontaneous motility and emotivity increased for group I. Hidrokinetotherapy determined the decrease of the score for spontaneous motility and emotivity. In conclusion hidrokinetotherapy has had favorable influence and determined the reduction of anxiety.
