We are trying to point out aspects regarding arbiter’s mission, a very difficult one nowadays, when a fraction of second can make difference in great interests and passions. Alongside the physical and theoretic preparation, we have to take in account about psychological preparation. Optimal motivation means an optimal intensity of motivation able to permit higher performances. We also discuss about the interest, that for an arbiters means a career selective orientation.
