In parallel with a brilliant poetical career, Naum consecrated important researches to theatre between 1945 and 1963. He wrote texts as: Exact în acelaşi timp (Exactly at the Same Time), Aux pieds de Sémiramis (At the Feet of Sémiramis), Ceasornicăria Taus (The Taus Clockworks) Insula (The Island). This dramatic writings are characterised by black humour, absurd and dream-like situations, which make them very modern and able to be staged even today.
