Alina Pahoncia has an MA in journalism at the Babeş Bolyai University of Cluj and followed several training programs in communication and photojournalism in France. In this study, she elaborates a large and complex analysis of the cinema industries, audiences and media response to film production in Romania, using sociological instruments and also critical and cultural perspectives. The goal of this paper is to prove the necessity of a deep change in the cultural policies concerning film making and distribution în Romania.
