Abstract: This study investigates several possible thermodynamic options (Sanchez-Lacombe, SAFT, Flory-Huggins, Soave-Redlich-Kwong) available in designing polymerization systems. Various results are predicted by these models with respect to monomer-polymer separation and polymer properties. These results show that it is essential to choose the proper thermodynamic model in order to get reliable results from simulation.
