  Abstract:  The International Conference on Enzymes in the Environment was held in Granada, Spain, on 12-15 July, 1999, and comprised 10 symposia. The volume containing the abstracts of the inaugural and closing lectures, of 36 oral and 150 poster presentations was edited by Professor R. P. Dick (Department of Crop and Soil Science, Oregon State University, Corvallis, OR, USA) in 1999. A review on this volume was published in Studia Universitatis Babeş-Bolyai, Biologia (2000, Vol.45, No.1, p. 143).
